Determining if a website is legit or not can be extremely simple, but is very important. We've put together top red flags that a website is not legit. These can be easy to miss, so be sure to check carefully.
1- EXTREME PRICING
It's too good to be true? If pricing is unreasonably low, it is probably not legit.
2- ALTERED DOMAIN
Does the website appear to look like a major retailer but when you click the domain it is altered? For example, they may use additional numbers or letters. A major retailer will not use another domain other than their own.
3- UNSECURED WEBSITE
Is it a secured website? HTTPS the “s” stands for secured so if you see a website that is HTTP it is not a secured site. There are still many smaller websites that aren’t secured but I would
4- NO COMMUNICATION
Do they have a contact us page? Generally, spam sites will have contact information that is outside the USA or no contact information at all.
5- LOW QUALITY
