Family Friendly Fall Activities
Fall is officially here and I am so excited to share some of my favorite fall activities with you! I think that building traditions is really important for kids because it gives them something to look forward to each season and allows you to build memories as a family! Whether this is your first fall as a family or your kids are grown I think you will find an activity that is suitable for your crew!
Visit a Farmer’s Market-
I love visiting the local farmers market year-round, but there is something special about going in the fall! There is a nice crisp, coolness in the air, leaves are falling and there are so many goodies to enjoy!
Pumpkin Patch-
This is a signature fall activity that I feel is a must-do, especially if you have kids! You can usually make an entire day out of this! So many pumpkin patches are full-blown farms with things like petting zoos, corn mazes, hayrides and so much more!
Haunted House-
I personally skip this one, but I know it is a favorite among older kids! If you enjoy being scared then don’t skip heading to a haunted house!!
Fall Baking Day-
Head to the kitchen, pull out your favorite recipes, and make a day out of baking with the family! You could do something as simple as slice-and-bake cookies all the way to something more elaborate like pumpkin or apple pie!
Hand Out Candy-
One of my favorite things to do during fall is handing out candy on Halloween! In our neighborhood, everyone sets up in their driveway and hands out candy! It is so much fun seeing everyone dressed up and excited about candy!
Fall Festival-
Find a local fall festival in your area and go have some good old-fashioned family fun! You are likely to find activities for the kids, food, vendors, and more!
I am so excited to start checking things off my fall bucket list! I hope you get out and make some memories with your family and friends this fall!
