Back-to-school shopping doesn't have to break the bank. One of my favorite places to shop for affordable kids' clothing is Walmart because it's easy to find cute, comfortable outfits at prices that fit almost any budget. With just $150, you can build a versatile wardrobe that includes everyday basics, fun pieces, and a few back-to-school essentials.

Here's how I would spend a $150 budget to create a mix-and-match wardrobe for an elementary-aged girl. These are the pieces I'd prioritize to get the most value while making sure she has plenty of outfit options for the first weeks of school.

Tops-

My focus for tops was to get a combination of basic t-shirts that can be mixed and matched with a few fun staple tops for a little fun!
